Installing Server
4 The Administration Service main page appears. It shows the default
Server auto-configured by the Service on your machine (local host).
5 Clicking on Start and Connect starts and connects to the Server.
Deploy Tool
To begin using the Deploy Tool, you must first start a Server on the
network. Then:
1 At shell prompt, change directory to <install dir>/server/deploytool (if
you have installed Server with the Deploy Tool .
2 At shell prompt, change directory to <Deploy Tool installation
directory>\deploytool\bin (if you have installed only the Deploy Tool)
3 Run the shell script rundeploytool.sh.
4 Deploy Tool starts by prompting for a Server instance to connect to.
Enter the configuration details of default Server:
Server IP Localhost
Naming port 9191
User name root
Password pramati
Realm system
5 Deploy Tool connects to default Server and appears. The tool has a
swing-based UI and allows you to configure properties of Java
Archives and Web Archives for use with Pramati Server.
6 Exit Deploy Tool by selecting Archive > Exit from the menu.
Pramati Message Server
To verify installation of Pramati Message Server:
1 At shell prompt, change directory to <Server installation
directory>\server\bin (if you have installed Server with JMS)
2 At shell prompt, change directory to <Message Server installation
directory>\jms\bin (if you have installed only the Message Server)
3 If you have installed only the Message Server, run runjms.sh file.
