15. The next page,alsoentitled“ServerCertEnrollment,”is thelastpage
of their enrollment form and is shown as figure 3.12 on page 74.
From the first pull-down menu, choose the currency in which you
are going to pay Thawte.
16. Type the street address for your organization into the “Office Street
Address” text box.
17. Type in your organization’s fax number into the text box under “Of-
fice Fax Number.”
18. From the pull-down menu under “Nearest Thawte Office,” choose
the Thawte office closest to your organization.
19. If you wantto, youmaytypeapasswordorchallengephraseinto the
text boxunder “PrivacyProtection Password.” After you’ve submit-
ted your application, you’ll be able to check on its status on the web.
Ifyou typea passwordin here,then only peoplewho knowthe pass-
word will be able to check on the status of your application. If you
don’t fill one in, anyone can check on your application.
20. Click on Next at the bottom of the page.
21. The next page will indicate that your submission is complete, as
shown in figure 3.13 on page 75. This page provides you with a
tracking number for your application, so that you can monitor its
status over the web. This page also gives you contact information
for Thawte and instructions on where to send your documentation
(as described in section 3.3.2 on page 48) and your payment. You
should print this page for future reference.
After Thawte receives your documentation and payment, your cer-
tificate should be issued by email within five working days.
22. Saveyourcertificateintoafilenamedhttpsd.crt inyour/etc/httpd/conf
directory. See section 3.6 on page 58 for instructions on installing
your certificate.
